Burg Halle: Website Rebrush
In 2018, I worked on a rebrush of the landing page for Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design. The aim was straightforward: give the page a more current look and a clearer structure.

Project
The concept brings the university’s different content types together on one long page. A large editorial image leads into a modular grid of projects, exhibitions, and application information, followed by an event calendar and a visual overview of university life.
Large letters from the BURG identity appear throughout the page as recurring visual elements. The mobile concept keeps the same material but turns it into a narrow vertical sequence with compact navigation and a simplified footer.

What was created
The project resulted in a responsive landing-page concept for desktop and mobile. It included the main entry page, content modules for projects and exhibitions, event listings, an application section, and a condensed mobile layout.
Looking back
Burg Halle sits between my background in communication design and my later focus on digital products. The interesting part was not choosing between expression and structure; the page needed both. The oversized BURG letters could remain loud, while projects, events, and application information still had to be easy to find on desktop and mobile.
