STAMP was an app concept for buying local club-entry tickets before arriving at the venue.

The STAMP app concept and interaction presentation.

Project

The starting point was personal and fairly simple: I liked going clubbing, but not spending the beginning of the night in a queue. STAMP moved the payment step forward, allowing entry to be arranged before reaching the door.

The project remained a concept. Its purpose was to show the proposed service and app rather than claim that the system had been implemented or tested with clubs.

What was created

The project produced a mobile app concept and a presentation film. STAMP gave the idea of advance club admission a visual identity and an interface, showing how the ticket purchase could move from the venue door to the phone.

Looking back

STAMP began with a very ordinary frustration: I did not want to spend the start of a night standing in line. The answer was equally direct: move payment to the phone before arrival. It stayed a concept, but it was one of the projects where I first stopped thinking only about appearance and started thinking about the sequence around it.
